Coaching.
The Coach Hollie Lawson. The Coachee is defined on the contract and email communication.
‘Discovery Calls’ last up to 15 mins and are offered to anyone that is interested in receiving coaching from Hollie. It is a call between Hollie and the coachee/ coachees parents to determine if coaching would be an appropriate support service. This is provided free of charge. No coaching will occur in this call. This call gives both parties a chance to get to know one another and ask questions, discuss concerns and hopes for coaching. Hollie will use this time to also explain the coaching process. The coach, Hollie, will follow this up within the following week to get feedback.
Sessions are confidential unless the coachee is at risk to themselves or others. With regards to coaching sessions with under 18’s, confidentiality will be offered and information sharing will be explained to give the young person the option of sharing information with parents to support their coaching journey. If Hollie deems the coachee, under or over 18, to be at risk of harm to themselves or others, she will contact relevant individuals/ professionals to ensure the coachees/ peoples safety.
The length of the coaching package and frequency will be agreed in the discovery call or via email. Each session last 50 mins-1 hour. Sessions will be booked in, and an invoice for the agreed sessions sent via email. Sessions will not occur if payment and a signed contract has not been received 24 hours before the 1st session.
Payments are non-refundable. Please pay using the details in the invoice that will be emailed at least 48 hours before the 1st session.
If the coachee cannot attend their appointment, please let Hollie know at the earliest convenience. If less than 24 hours notice is provided, Hollie may charge for the missed session.
If Hollie is unable to attend a scheduled appointment, as much notice as possible will be given, and a date will be rescheduled.
Hollie will take responsibility for running the session to time. Both parties are to attend the session on time. Any late arrivals will mean the session runs for a shorter time. Both parties will commit to limit distractions during sessions. (e.g phones, unless an emergency is expected.)
The coachee will use any material created by Hollie, such as worksheets and recorded material for their own personal use, therefore it is not to be shared.
Travel expenses: Clients can come for sessions at Hollie’s garden studio at Lathockar near St Andrews, otherwise, she can hold sessions within alternative settings. If this alternative setting is out with 8 miles from Hollie’s home, then travel expenses will be applied at the recommended 40p per mile travelled.
Commitment- While Hollie can coach the coachee, and give them tools and encouragement, ultimately the coachee will need to assume responsibility for making the required changes and implementing what they are learning through the sessions.
Coaching is not a form of counselling or therapy. Hollie is not a medical professional. Please inform Hollie if the coachee starts to receive support from any other service.
Both parties will treat each other with respect. Any aggressive behaviour to the coach may result in the immediate cessation of the sessions without a refund.
Hollie complies with strict Data Protection Guidelines, holding any information about an individual on a laptop, only to be accessed by Hollie with a password. Data will be kept for the recommended 7 years.
